PayNexa is a fintech payment platform built as .NET 10 microservices (Customer, Authentication, Payment, Transaction, Notification) behind a YARP API gateway. Each service follows Clean Architecture, DDD and CQRS. Writes go to SQL Server, reads come from MongoDB read models, and Redis is the cache. Events flow to Kafka through a transactional outbox. Every request is logged end to end with Serilog, Seq and OpenTelemetry under one correlation id, with personal data masked. The whole stack runs in Docker.
PayNexa is a fintech payment platform built as a set of .NET 10 microservices. It follows the patterns used in real payment systems: Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design, CQRS, event-driven messaging and end-to-end observability. The whole platform, including every database, message broker and monitoring tool, runs locally with a single Docker Compose command. The platform is made up of six parts. A YARP API gateway is the single entry point: it routes requests to the right service and passes a correlation id along with every call. The Customer service is fully implemented. It handles customer registration, profile, email and address changes, the account lifecycle (active, suspended, closed), identity verification (KYC) and a payment eligibility check that other services use before accepting a payment. The Authentication, Payment, Transaction and Notification services are planned next. They will handle login and tokens, idempotent payment processing, the transaction ledger, and email and SMS notifications. Every service has the same layered structure. The domain layer holds the business rules as aggregates, value objects and domain events, and knows nothing about databases or frameworks. The application layer runs commands and queries through a Mediator pipeline that adds logging, validation and domain-rule handling automatically. The infrastructure layer plugs…
